Research opportunities

We support our member practices to take part in research activity, helping practices access and bid for research opportunities and generate additional funding within primary care.

Research in general practice supports evidence-based care and gives patients opportunities to take part in research studies.

We provide coordinated support to help practices participate in research with minimal additional workload, including:

  • Clinical leadership
  • Centralised patient searches and mail-outs
  • Administrative support
  • Coordination with research networks and study teams

This approach helps practices take part in research activity more easily while supporting collaboration across Brighton & Hove.

We work with a range of regional and national partners to support research delivery in primary care, including research networks, universities and NHS organisations.
